i can't wait until i'm eight

What a beautiful little girl! I just love her! She is kind and giving and really funny. Its really hard to turn her over to her own accountability. I do not doubt her choices. I would just rather be responsible for them. Because I love her. Because she is a little kid still. Because I would do anything for her. I guess that is the hard thing about being a mom letting your kids go a little as they grow.

{On a side note: It snowed. What a cool thing for the world to turn white on her baptism day. Before we left for the church, while I was getting other kids and myself ready and Ben was hauling folding chairs into the house, Finn got left outside. After looking for our lost little boy we found him out playing in the wet muddy snow! Of course it was time to go so I blowdryed his shirt and tie and changed his pants and shoes}.

It was such a neat day. Can you imagine to be so clean and pure? We just said to her to remember how she feels right now. Here she is after her baptism and confirmation looking really beautiful and sweet. We feel really lucky to have had a baby blessing and a baptism in the same year.

And really lucky to have friends and family there on her most important day.
